Ghost Stories from The Brickworks

Book onto the Brickworks Tour

Friday 15 May, 2026

Time: 19:30 & 21:00

Location: The Brickworks Museum

Ticket Price: £15 - £7.50

Step into the shadows of Victorian industry! Delve into ghostly tales of overworked laborers, phantom children, shadowy figures, and tragic accidents. Embark on a journey through the dark history of the last remaining steam-driven brickworks in the UK, revealing true tales of spectres and shades that haunt this massive labyrinth of kilns and machinery after dark.

Unlike other ghost tours, we bring you the genuine hangman’s humour of history through its myths and legends. Our storytellers will guide you through the Brickworks' dark and forbidding corridors, dodging shadows at every turn. Uncover ghostly tales, from the phantom footsteps echoing in the cavernous drying sheds to the spirits of Victorian workers still toiling away in the dark. Explore the origins of local legends and discover the scientific side of paranormal occurrences through stories of gruelling labour and industrial tragedy.

Join our darkly humorous ghost tour in the heart of a haunted industrial marvel; together we'll explore the towering kilns and factory floors, learn a little, laugh a little, but scream a lot!
