The Christmas Escape Room

This Christmas, step into the atmospheric Brickworks Museum and uncover a story hidden in clay and fire.
Victorian brickmakers believed the first bricks laid in a new home carried blessings, luck, and sometimes secrets. But this year, something priceless has been mistakenly sealed inside one of twelve ceremonial “foundation bricks.” Scattered across the museum’s historic rooms, these bricks hold the key to restoring Christmas cheer.

As a team, you’ll journey through the workshop, the yard, the ledger office, and the great kiln chamber—immersed in lantern light, carols, and the scent of coal and clay. Along the way, you’ll gather evidence, follow the foreman’s notes, and uncover the traditions that bound families to their homes during the festive season. A puzzle suitable for all the family!

To attempt the challenge, you must book a time slot to play. The game costs £19 each (plus booking fee) for up to 7 people.

Once booked you will receive confirmation email of your booking with further instructions. One hour before your game you will receive a reminder email.
This is an in person live game: arrive up to 15 mins before your games time and find the very large Chimney. Wait there for your Games Master to come and get you.

There is plenty parking and toilets available at the Brickworks.
